Vintage B&L Bausch & Lomb USA Mirage Large 65mm Purple Aviator Sunglasses

B&L Bausch & Lomb USA - the original RayBan manufacturer. True vintage circa late 1970’s - early 1980’s. Made in USA. Extra large adult unisex.New old stock and never worn, but have imperfections from 50+ years of storage. Includes original black drawstring soft case. Lightly lined with BAUSCH & LOMB MIRAGE printed on front.Aubergine dark purple polycarbonate (plastic) lenses with a top gradient. MIRAGE printed on left lens. The lenses are non-prescription and ready for wear with 100% UV protection. Lightweight and comfortable to wear.A few short hairline scratches noted on both lenses. Some specks and slight scuffs. Short <1 cm scratch on the inside of left lens above nosepad. These lens imperfections are minor and only visible upon close inspection.Both the top and bottom of the brow bar are impressed with U.S.A. Black plastic paddle tips for comfort. Adjustable crystal clear nose pads.Black metal frame. There are some scuffs above left lens and along the temples. The frame could use an adjustment as there are gaps between the frame and the lenses.The left temple screw is stuck and cannot be removed without a professional. That temple does not “lock” in place when opened.
