This Royal Copenhagen annual Christmas plate displays beautifully. Will make a wonderful addition to your Royal Copenhagen collection and accent pieces. Circa: 1962 origin, Denmark. Makers mark the bottom has the Blue Royal Copenhagen makers mark, as shown in the last photo
A statue of The Little Mermaid sits on a rock in the Copenhagen harbor in Langelinie. This small and unimposing statue is a Copenhagen icon & tourist attraction. The statue was commissioned in 1909 by Carl Jacobsen, son of the founder of Carlsberg, after he had been fascinated by a ballet based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen in 1836.
Excellent condition no issues. May not have been out of box, seems new and original box looks old.
