Vintage chocolate pot made in Japan. Marked Japan on bottom. White porcelain, glazed. Hand painted with raised and textured elements. Scene goes all the way around. Scene is a village with trees, mountains, and water. There are people in boats. Green on the rim. Design band around top and bottom. Fancy handle with gold leaf line on front side and on end. Pot does not have a lid. 7 1/2 inches high, base diameter 5 inches, 5 3/4 inches handle to spout. Opening diameter 3 3/8 inches. Good condition, no chips or cracks. Design very good. Gold leaf good. Great item for a collection or as a decorator piece. Great for anyone who likes oriental and/or moriage items.
