50s Leopard Corduroy Coat Robe Dress Black Velvet Collar Double-breasted Vintage

Collectable Vintage house coat from the 50s. Fine-wale lightweight corduroy 100% cotton with smooth interior and 8 original black shiny buttons, all 8 with button holes, in a double-breasted style.Dark black velvet collar can be worn down or up and the lapels show below the collar. There's 1 patch pocket by the front of the left hip. The top has bust darts- that's how they did it back in the day.The pattern is sharp and not faded. In great condition- 1 owner, my mom. This was dry-cleaned before I stored it- I have had it for a long time. There's 1 small spot inside that is negligible since it doesn't show on the outside (perhaps and old food stain); no tears or rips or holes. This is a stunning item! Wear as a dress or a coat. Great with jeans or as a shirt dress with a belt around the waist. In the 50s this was considered lingerie and would be a house coat robe.
