This unique hat is made of almost see-through fine straw. The crown is round, and at the front there is a semi-brim that is folded and attached at the center, creating two conical shapes. The front is adorned with beautiful fabric flowers, and there is a full veil. Stunning!Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting.There is no label, indicating it was a custom-made creation.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
