Vintage Black Felted Vest with hand dyed silk accents made by Joyce Fogle. The accents along the bottom and back are triangles, which might appeal to a math teacher or an art teacher. Colors are tones of tan, gold, brown, and green.
There is a tag marked S for small, but this vest is not that small. I am a medium to large size female and this vest fit me. So, I think perhaps the designer made her items to be oversized.
Joyce Fogle was an American fiber artist and maker of wearable art. In the early 1980s she began Joyce Fogle Studio, which produced designer jackets and accessories marketed to boutiques and galleries nationwide. Ms. Fogle passed away in 2009, this her unique, high quality art-to-wear is no longer being made.
