About the sculptor
MARCEL JOVINE
A celebrated medalist, Jovine created the
official 1980 Winter Olympics commemorative
medallion.
He was commissioned by AT&T to sculpt their
commemorative series.
About the foundry
BARRETT-COLEA INC.
Sculpture is a blend of polyester and pewter
and aluminum powder reinforced with wire.
The assembled sculpture was painted, etched
and highlighted by hand and finished with a
semi-gloss lacquer.
Sculpture is still packaged with molded poly
foam in original box from manufacturer with
AT&T document... see images
