25 years since the release of the legendary album Buena Vista Social Club that swept the world with Cuban music - the album created by Ry Cooder with Cuban legends is reborn as a 2-LP analog anniversary edition with a new remaster and unreleased tracks from the original 1996 album sessions! A new chapter has been added to this historically valuable album!

The masterpiece is reborn as a deluxe edition with numerous unreleased tracks! This release, Buena Vista Social Club: 25th Anniversary Edition, features a new 2021 remaster of the original album, along with unreleased tracks from the original 1996 recording sessions. The album was remastered by Bernie Grundman. These unreleased tracks, included on LP2 of the 2-LP analog set, include outtakes and alternate versions from the album, with Vicenta, featuring vocals by Eliades Ochoa and Compay Segundo, released as a lead track.

The music contained here conveys the atmosphere of the time it was recorded. Ry Cooder, in an interview with BBC Radio 2 at the time, said, It's the best album I've ever been involved in, and called it the greatest musical experience of my life. Buena Vista Social Club, a historical masterpiece that shed light on Cuban music that might have been buried in time and connected it to the present, is reborn with a new sound!
