It features a special weave called weak tension weaving, which creates a dotted appearance on the surface of the fabric.
This unevenness of the yarn creates one of the characteristics of the rough and textured feel.
By weakening the tension of the warp yarns and having skilled craftsmen control the weaving speed, the thick denim is woven slowly, resulting in a fabric that is plump and uneven like hand-woven fabric.
The unevenness is an expression that can only be achieved with old-fashioned power looms, and it is reflected in the fading pattern known as ten-fall and vertical-fall.
It becomes surprisingly soft with wear.
It also features a deep color.
