This beautiful neodymium candle holder/wine caddy is from the Fire & Light studio in Arcata CA, and was sold by their dealer Plaza Design in McKinleyville CA. Sadly, both companies are no longer active.Fire & Light used a large percentage of recycled glass in their creations, and in many cases such as this, added neodynium oxide during the melting process. This results in the color changing properties of these pieces, as they shift from purplish-pink to cool blue depending on the light source.
