Rare Lesley Nicholls New Zealand Hand Woven Wool Pillow Cover Wall Art NWTThis is a gorgeous vintage pillow sham cover,or it would also be lovely used as wall art,it's handwoven by weaver Lesley Nicholls in New Zealand.The original tag is still attached.Lesley Nicholls worked with Gordon Crook,designer,on a tapestry entitled "Red Kowhai" which is in the Museum of New Zealand.There was a note included with this that reads,"The dyes are from onion skin (lavendar),lichens (green),etc."Measurement is approximately14 x 14inches,not counting the 2 inch fringe..It's in very good,unused vintage condition.There is no damage to mention.I do have other vintage linens, lace, fabric and jewelry on auction and am happy to combine shipping.See my other listings for more great items!
