Royal Hickman, the man, the myth, the legend of Haeger Art Pottery. When he left Haeger at the end of the 1940s, he moved to Tennessee for awhile and collaborated on pottery lamps and the development of this very special Crystalline glaze called "Petty". This is a stunning blue over dove gray. Marked Royal Hickman USA 537. This style was considered so classic and versatile that it made it's way from mid century decor through even the high end furnishings of the 1980s. 8 inches tall, 4 inches across the rim, 1.5 inches wide.
