Leaf - Botanical PaintingAcrylic Painting on Masonite Hardboard.Mounted on hardboard.Wood Frame.This was painted in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico while I was living in a truck camper.It was inspired by the tropical plants around me. There's a type of ficus tree that can be seen growing throughout Todos Santos...when the leaves drop off they change from green to beautiful orange & yellow colors as they dry. I collected some and used them as the model for this painting.I used a vintage wood frame and painted it to compliment the artwork.Art is signed on the back & includes the date & place.The depth is about 2.5"Height - about 12"Length -about 14"These are the dimensions including the frame.
