The Perfecto Jacket is made from only the best naturally tanned leather that provides a lifetime of style and protection. Laced Side gussets provide extra protection when tightened. Made in the USA this jacket has endured in its style since the 1920s when it was created for Harley Davidson. Worn by Marlon Brando, Elvis, The Ramones and also a favorite of Lady Ga, Cher and Madonna. The “Terminator” movie also featured with Arnold wearing one.I was able to verify with Schott Bros that this is not a woman’s jacket- the lacings made me think it was. It’s a men’s 42 which gives an oversized profile for most women…. Like any rock legend would wear it 🤩 Shown on my size 4 mannequin.I emailed Schott Bros and was also able to verify the age of the jacket based on a small “care tag” inside the lining, also the Perfecto label helps to date it. The belt is not missing, they told me that it never had one in it’s design- you are supposed to use your own.Size 42 (shown on my size 6 mannequin and is oversized). Measures flat, pit to pit 21”, sleeve length 23”, length (from center bottom collar) to bottom 25 1/2”In fabulous vintage condition- light signs of use consistent with it’s age.
