This unusual book is the diary kept by Lady Cottington. Instead of pressing flowers in it, she pressed fairies (with a resulting look remarkably similar to watercolors). Handwritten and handsomely bound, this book is as surprising as it is pleasing. This isn't a children's book.

A parody of the Victorian obsessions with fairies and pressed flowers is presented in the form of a diary. In this instance, it is Lady Angelica Cottingham’s diary, which features pressed garden fairies. Or rather the psychic images of the fairies, who quickly turned it into a game, where they leaped between the closing pages in an effort to outdo each other to produce the most outrageous pos
