This stunning vintage collector plate features a Fragonard style aristocratic courting couple at the center of the plate.
It is beautifully bordered with light pink and gold design, and completed with different pictures of the couple along the edges of the plate.
Blue crown stamp at the back of the plate.
The plate comes with plate hanger, ready to be hung on the wall.
The courting couple was inspired from the work of artist Jean Honore Fragonard (1732-1806).
Fragonard was a French painter of the Rococo style who was popular in the latter half of the 18th Century, around the time of Marie Antoinette, Louis XV and Louis XVI.
Rococo painters featured pastoral landscapes and incorporated in their paintings myths of love, cherubs, cupids, venus and mythical creatures.
