This is a Toshiba low-noise transistor that has been widely used in manufacturer amplifiers since around the 1980s. Recently, second-source versions have been circulating, but this is the remaining stock from a purchase of 400 pieces made around 2011 (original manufacturer packaging was 200 pieces).

I have sorted 10 pairs of transistors from PchNch with a GR rank, selected under the condition of 6V, 2mA, with hfe around 260. The measuring device shown in the image is an old Koyo transistor checker that I often use due to its wide setting range.

These have become increasingly difficult to obtain over the years, and it is becoming more challenging to find them in pairs. They would be great for applications using thermal coupling or for DIY and repairs.
