A classic from the 1940s, a BEACON Native American/"Indian" themed pictorial camp blanket, reversible woven of heavy, soft cotton fleece in vibrant primary colors. Southwest patterns, teepees, campfires and a brave sending smoke signals adorn this rare blanket, featured in the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." Double sized, measuring 64" wide and 68" long. Some pilling of the fabric, and some wear so that it is thinner than when new. But with the exception of one very small cut, about half an inch (see last photo) there are no rips/tears/holes and the edges are not unraveling. This flaw would be an easy repair. Clean, no stains, no odors. Colors still vibrant, fabric still soft and cozy. There is no brand tag but this is a well-known BEACON design. I did not launder or steam this vintage blanket, but will allow the new owner to determine how they want it handled. But it will undoubtedly look even better with some TLC--fluffed up and wrinkle-free! Great to use as a throw or even better as a display for cottagecore or Western décor. Will be treasured by any collector!
