The Count and Sing Express has four distinctive modes.
In Learn , kids gain an early introduction to the 10 numbers on the side of the train, and hear four characters introduce themselves and their instruments they play as they steam ahead on their express train. Touching a character in this mode introduces the character (either Leap, Casey, Della or Dan) the sound and name of his/her respective instrument (either the saxophone, guitar, flute or drum). Touching any of the 10 numbers on the outside of the Express allows kids to hear the name of that number.
In Game , kids play number games including counting backwards and an early number quiz.
In Music , the four passengers play familiar songs and encourage kids to play a music game, where they have to find the number of notes played.
