Authentic, pre-owned. Perfect for anyone looking for a vintage Louis Vuitton briefcase without having to pay thousands of dollars.Black leather with black interior, gold toned hardware. Corners are in pretty good condition considering it is vintage. Front closure latch/lock is fully functional and in good condition. Main issues of concern in my opinion are wearing/fading of the leather color on the top in front of the handle. When I purchased the item, though I have never used it, the left side of the handled was detached. I used leather glue to repair it but I am not sure how well that will hold up. I am sure it would be an easy fix for a cobbler. There is scratching on the inside but the leather is not damaged, the leather just likely needs to be cleaned with a little TLC.
