40's Vintage Original N-3 HBT L Size [Excellent Condition]

1940s U.S. NAVY N-3 HBT Coverall Jacket from World War II.

While similar to the USMC P-41 and P-47, it differs in weave and buttons, making it even rarer than the P41/47.

Double collar.
The USN stencil is not visible, so it may have been erased or it may have been a plain type from the beginning.

Condition: Personally, the most important point is that there are no missing black lacquer (steel) laurel tree buttons. There is also no typical wear and tear on the hem, rib ends, or collar lining. There are small scratches and holes on the back of the right sleeve and under the right armpit (see image 10). Also, as this is an HBT from this era, there are minor neps and weaving flaws on the back (see image 11). Overall, the fabric shows some fading.

In conclusion, despite minor damage, the overall condition is quite good.
It is unlikely to find one in this condition even in vintage stores.
This piece retains the thickness and stiffness of the N-3 weave.
