Vintage 1920s-1960s Bambergers New Jersey women's hat. Features a richly decorated piece with intricate embroidery with red and gold patterns. Its red and gold textured surface creates a luxurious appearance. The hat is adorned with a wide red band around the middle that is embellished with plastic red gemstones and forms a bow in the center. That bow has a red teardrop shaped stone lined with clear gemstones and an outer layer of Aurora Borealis looking stones, finished with red stones at both the top and bottom of the center stone. The inside of the hat is lined with a maroon mesh layer and has a very vintage BAMBERGER'S NEW JERSEY tag in it. Hat weighs 4.5 ounces. Inside the hat side to side it measures 6" and from front to back it's 7 3/4". The inside of the hat, where the tag is, appears to have a few sweat stains. Very pretty old hat. Smoke free home.
