Pair of beautiful Japanese Mandarin duck figurines. They are handpainted in vibrant shades of teal, red, green, black, yellow, and purple, with gold accents. These ducks are called Oshidori, and come from Kutani. The larger duck is about 6 1/4 long and 3 1/2 tall, and the smaller is about 5 long and 2 1/4 tall. Both are signed by the artist on the underside.
They are in very nice shape with no chips or cracks. The gold trim shows some crackling, particularly on the top of the larger figurine. Both still display beautifully!
