On offer is this charming antique cast iron squirrel nutcracker. Not many of these around and they were most likely produced in Europe around 1900. A few have appeared in European auction houses. The squirrel stands 6.5 tall, is 3.8 wide, and 7.5 long. Weighing 5lb, this piece could also make for a good door stop/paperweight/curiosity piece. In fully functioning condition. Not sure what the original color would have been; this ones shows signs of black, green, and brown. A fun antique item and very rare to find one of these in the United States.
