Banana Republic Metallic Gold Ombré Bamboo w/Leather Handles Maxi Tote Handbag

This bag is vintage, rare, but new with the tag still on. I bought more than one of these - one for myself and one or two more for gifts. One ended up staying in the closet and got forgotten. It is the coolest! First there are the colors - ombré with the body mostly a shimmery gold/bronze/dark brown and the transition is a narrow band of aubergine/eggplant, a very dark purple. And that shimmery material? It's woven banana leaf fiber! True story. It says so right on the materials tag. It's fully lined in sturdy brown cotton and all the trim, including the handles, zipper tab and the finish around the pockets and is leather. I dressed it elegant with linen trousers a bronze tank top and Tod's shoes but it would be happy to shine with your fave jeans and jeans jacket or whatever. It says style however you style it. Vacation time? It's travel ready and big enough to carry your gear with you on the plane. Easily fits my full size Macbook Pro and iPad as shown.
