French Empire Brass Bouillotte Style Lamp Green & Gold Metal Shade Made in Italy

This French Bouillotte lamp showcases a classic olive green finish accented with black detailing on the shade, base, and center column. Inspired by 18th- and 19th-century designs, Bouillotte lamps were originally created for use during the French card game of the same name.The lamp features a central metal shaft and an adjustable shade, which can be raised or lowered using a brass arrowhead-shaped handle to control the light level. A brass finial tops the lamp for an elegant touch. The body is primarily metal, painted in olive green with refined black accents. There is a small crack on the round base of the second candle, but it does not detract from the overall beauty of the lamp. The true representation of the lamp color are the images with the light off.I tested it and it is working, however due to the age the wiring may need/should be replaced/checked by an electrician prior to use. Some of the wiring inside has been taped.Candelabra bulbs are not included.
