Vintage SUE WONG Embellished Black Linen Spaghetti Strap Dress made of very fine, pure linen with Broderie AnglaiseVery Late 1990s y2k, Era. The dresses were sold in upscale boutiques before the Sue Wong label became mass-producedin 1999 this dress was almost $700. I calculated the inflation conservatively. The linen is very high quality. The pleats hand finished and all embroideries are done by hand. The dress is even more beautiful than I can capture in a photo, it is jet black, I lightened some of the images so that you can see the embroideries and fancy seams and pleats.Black 100% linen dress, Embellished with embroideries and knife pleats with a v-neck.This dress came from Sue Wong's breakthrough collection that helped launch the "Boho" trend, the dress came from an upscale boutique near the Baylor campus, not long after she became famous for her flight silk dress, mostly produced in India and China Fully lined, fastens with a zipper. The dress is in excellent condition and appears new. One of the straps will need to be repaired, one of the adjustable straps has lost the slider and I feel it would be best to remove the other slider and just sew the straps where they fit you the best.
