From the 19th Century. Very delicate Antique Japanese Hirado Bowl/Cup with Saucer made of ultrathin eggshell porcelain. Decorated in Kutani aka-e style overglaze in red, white and gold with three cartouches with different representations (see photos). Made between 1875 and 1900.Marked on the underside in red with a six character mark: Mikawachi Nagamoto-za (made in Mikawachi by Nagamoto).Dimensions: diameter saucer 5.5” with a raised edge of 1.5” high, diameter cup/bowl 4” and 1.5” high.In very good condition. There is one chip on the rim of the cup, as pictured. There are a few blemishes and fine lines as well.Please note that antique and vintage items are considered used and some may have slight imperfections or wear. Sold as is.
