Original set of 4 original dessert footed sherbet dishes. Sometimes called a sauce dish.
In antique condition. Has some stress marks on one glass, flea bites on base on another. But overall in good condition. See photos as they are part of the description.
While the pattern was reproduced in the 30s, 50s and 70s, these are believed to be AUTHENTIC ORIGINALS originals as is evidenced by the yellow green glow under a black light. These were produced between 1880s and 1890s by Duncan & Miller, the yellow green glass glow supports identification as original pieces. See photos for blacklight image.
Other signs of authenticity as original include, the detail of the hair and earrings, and the more transparent frosting on the stem compared to newer versions. You'll also notice improved quality of facial features compared to reproductions.
