This is a showstopper, one-of-a-kind vintage hat from the 1970s'! The tall, rounded crown is made of almost velvety dark magenta felt, and features many rhinestones in matching magenta and green colors as shown. The wide brim is made of sea green felt, which is mostly covered in magenta feathers. There is a narrow sea green felt band around the crown, which ends in a bow at the back. This is a visually stunning hat!!!Labels: Original ANNIE LEE CALDWELL, plus a price tag : $79 ($79 then would be $646.80 today, per the Inflation Calculator website)Note: There are some makeup stains around the inside band, plus 2 tiny holes inside the hat by the hatband (last photo). Both are not noticeable when worn.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
