Fabulous 1940's Vintage sterling plated
Renaissance style, Goddess in Chariot led by two winged cherubs, vintage pendant necklace by Arthur Pepper of ART/ ModeArt.
This beautiful heavy silver plated openwork pendant measures 3 × 4 and decorated in elaborate detail. A Greek or Roman Goddess reclines in an ornamental wheeled chariot. Two chubby, tassel-headed, winged Cherubs or Putti, pull the chariot with ornate, flowing fabric drapes. All figures are surrounded by billowing clouds and floral garlands. The silver Prince of Wales chain is 20 long × 1/4 wide and has a secure hinged clip clasp.
