A rare Oswaldo Taller Guatemalan region folk art sculpture, figure. This Folk Art is depicting tradition in Ecuador as they prepare for Day of the Dead celebrations. (*These are usually 3” so it is rare to find these large wall hangings.)
A woman in a decorative and vibrant colored outfit with flowers on her dress and pants. Fuchsia, orange, teal and green. Circa 1970's. Created with an embedded hook for wall hanging.
The photos depict the exact item you will be receiving and the condition it is in. You will see some vintage aging like little cracks in this marzipan figure. The back of the hat is missing some brim, looks like a result of use as wall-hanging. Lovely in person. It is a solid piece. Vintage means 20-99 years old & comes with their own character! They may be a bit worn, faded, bent corners, aged paint, missing a part, crazing or overall wear. Always described & shown. Review photos carefully.
Measures: approx. 9” tall 4 wide, 2” deep
Weight: 11.4 oz.
