For your consideration is this vintage traditional school type hand bell. There is no maker's mark present on the piece. It has a black wooden handle, silver-tone bell, and cast iron clapper. The clapper is attached to an S-type hook that hangs from an Eye Screw. The eye screw attaches the clapper and the bell, and screws into the handle. The bell measures 2.9 inches in diameter x 4.9 inches tall. You can see where a label was adhered to the bell for some time as the metal is more polished than the rest. There is a little surface rust giving it a rustic charm. The silver-tone is on the matte side, but I have not attempted to polish it up. It has a beautiful and deep ring. Lovely vintage bell to add to your collection.
