This is such a great addition to a collection of miliaria. This is a man's USMC Tour Jacket. I like to try to find the owners or their families to reunite them with things like this, but I'm not sure how long it would take. This jacket was owned by a US Marine, with the last name, "Housh". There are no other identifiers. There are no interior tags on this piece that I can find. It has a fairly nice black quilted interior lining.The front of the jacket has two upper button closure pockets (one with the USMC insignia embroidered in black) and two side slit pockets. The wrist cuffs and the waist band have comfort fit elastic. The right arm has 4 patches embroidered on it, and the left arm has an additional 4.The back of the jacket dates this from 1990 Philippines, the first tank battalion, C-33 "C" Co. 3rd Platoon. All patches are affixed firmly, and the embroidery is top notch throughout. There are some stray threads on seaming, but you expect this from a coat that's about 35 years old. It's inconsequential: I don't believe it will effect this piece at all. This is a sturdy piece, and I know someone will be proud to own this. All measurements are approximate.
