25th Anniversary of the release of the historical masterpiece Buena Vista Social Club which caused a Cuban music sensation around the world -- The album that Ry Cooder created with Cuban legends is revived in a 2-LP vinyl anniversary edition with the latest remastering and unreleased tracks from the original 1996 album sessions!! A new page has been added to this historically valuable album!

The masterpiece is revived in a deluxe edition with many unreleased tracks! The Buena Vista Social Club: 25th Anniversary Edition to be released this time includes the latest 2021 remastered sound source of the original album, plus unreleased tracks from the original 1996 recording sessions. The album was remastered by Bernie Grundman. These unreleased tracks, included on LP2 of the 2-LP vinyl, include outtakes and alternate versions from the album, and Vicenta sung by Eliades Ochoa and Compay Segundo has been released as a pre-release track.

The atmosphere at the time of recording is conveyed in the music included here. Ry Cooder said in an interview with BBC Radio 2 at the time, It's the best album I've ever been involved with, and also said it was the best musical experience of my life, Buena Vista Social Club . This historical masterpiece, which shed light on Cuban music that might have been buried in time and connected it to the present day, is revived with a new sound image!
