Cosmetic only. You may wish to put inserts in, but they’re perfectly wearable as-is 👍 - Old musky scent -not a feet scent- I’ve fully washed these, but they were in storage for years & still need a little more time in the sun & fresh air to clear the musky odor.What I love about these is the heels are solid rubber instead of hard plastic like the other vintage Doc heels which tend to crack very easily.
