H. M. Lindenthal & Sons was founded in 1906 by Henry M. Lindenthal in Chicago, Illinois. Its industry was clothing marketed under The L System name and its place of operations remained in Chicago, Illinois. It existed until at least 1930.
This black and small sized overcoat with tails has expected signs of wear for a garment over 100 years old. I have been unable to find any other examples of surviving H.M Lindenthal and Sons of Chicago L. System clothing online and this may well be a very rare piece.
