This mid-century (50s-60s) vintage ice bucket is fashioned in cast metal in the style of famous designer, James Mont, a favorite of Hollywood stars and Mafia gangsters alike. Similar pieces are available on the Web from 70 to literally over 1,000. This one is in very good condition, but like many is missing its stainless steel liner. It is, nevertheless, still usable as an ice bucket, as the styrofoam encased plastic bowl is still intact, as is the insulated lid liner. The bowl can be removed easily for gentle cleaning. Of course, it is very much a collectible vintage item and looks great displayed as home decor. People have a tendency to ask about it, because they don't immediately recognize it for what it is. It's a relatively rare item. Approx. 11 1/2 tall and 8 1/2 in diameter at its widest point. Item #0317
