I live in North Carolina and I picked this vase up at an auction in a small town just west of Burlington, NC. It is in excellent condition. No cracks, chips, crazing, breaks or repairs. Beautiful turquoise blue on ivory with cut design. Measures 7" tall x 5" wide at middle and 4" wide at opening.Michael Crocker, is known for traditionally basedwheel thrown stoneware functional wares. As a child he watched potters working on the wheel. Crocker began working as an apprentice with the various families known for generations as north Georgia potters.At one time, Crocker made face jugs in collaboration with his brother, Melvin.
