The product is a vintage Sheaffer fountain pen desk set with a fabulous Bailey Banks and Biddle Chelsea clock, set is from the 1930s.
Bailey Banks and Biddle was a manufacturer of luxury jewelry, medals and items in the 19th and 20th century. The company designed military medals still in use today such as the Medal of Honor and the Purple Heart.
During the Wilson administration, the company was hired to deign a new presidential seal.
Both pens have a medium-sized 14K gold nib and gold trim.
I have consulted several other pen experts and have not found another set like this one. It appears to be extremely rare.
Item has a customized golden nameplate that will be removed before shipping. Original nameplate that came with the set will be sent. It will require engraving and tape to attach.
