Vintage MTA operator jacket, manufactured ca. late 1960s-early 1970s by Metcalf Bros & Co. Navy blue button-up jacket with an MTA patch, two front pockets, and a union made label. Each of the silver-toned buttons has the MTA logo. Size 39 XL (see modern measurements).- Time Period: c. late 1960s-early 1970s (this logo was used from 1968 to 1994 and the piece has an old dry cleaning/alterations tag from 1975).- Brand: Metcalf Bros & Co - Size: 39 XL (see modern measurements below).- Colors: Navy blue - Materials: 55% dacron, 45% wool - Made in: United States - Condition: In fair to good, vintage condition with dust markings and wear on the pockets, ends of the wrists, and edges, and some minor loose threads.
