Rare Antiquarian book 1823 dying wollen cotton silk William Partridge beautiful

This book is a first edition of A Practical Treatise on Dying Wollen, Cotton and Skein Silk the manufacturing of Broadcloth and Cassimere. All the marks and wear paper foxing and browning that is to be expected in a book of this age. No pages are loose or missing a section of the book has dog eared pages due to the way it was stored. The former owner signed the blank front pages many times. He wrote “ John Duncan his book may the 11th 1828 price $2.50 Steubenville ohio” in beautiful script.The fold out chart in intact. It is bound in calfskin leather. The spine is solid but no longer legible. If you are interested in the dying of fabrics, fashion design, textiles etc this book should be front and center in your collection.Truly a piece of history.
