Dolman sleeves; slight shoulder padding to give the shoulder area a lift (pads could be removed); slightly tapered sides to fit a woman's body shape; top of the jacket has epaulets fastened with a matching navy blue button; back has an open pleat for ease of movement; 6" wide placket sewn on towards bottom with 2 buttons for style. Walking shorts are a size 8. Shorts have 4 belt loops, a button closure with zipper front, and 4 subtle pleats on front. Wool/cotton/poly blend, made in USA. Paid $180.00 at an upscale dept. store on Michigan Ave. in Chicago. Suit was intended to be worn for an occasion but it never happened so it was never worn, store tags were cut off. Stored hung up on a brown wood hanger (which may have rubbed off a bit on the sewn in tags) in a cool dry place.
