-Since its completion in 1977, the Citigroup Center, designed by renowned architect Hugh Stubbins, has commanded a prominent presence at the heart of Manhattan. Rising a height of 279 meters (915 ft), this contemporary tower stands on four massive 10-story-high pillars and encompasses a vast urban space that includes a concert hall, a chapel, and boutiques.
Created around the preexisting Lutheran church that occupied the site since 1862, this space truly celebrates the vibrant New York lifestyle.
