ANTIQUE SILVERPLATE TEAPOT
Interesting and unusual antique silverplate teapot measuring only 6 tall. Completely covered with repousse and hand chased decoration, handle is wicker wrapped to protect the hand, and original lid has a simple curved arch handle - small pouring spout, short ring foot and banded center as shown. Style is almost Chinese Export with an abundance of lovely scrollwork, floral baskets, swags, acanthus leaves and similar designs - ball shape reflects an embossed panel shape. Bearing the C.B.W. & S. mark for E.G. WEBSTER & SON., condition is lovely with no dents, rust, cracks, hairlines, or damage - a handsome and unique piece. Lovely addition to any home, collection or display!
