40s 50s Vintage French Army M47 Cargo Pants, Early Model, Size 22 Equivalent

This is a pair of French Army M47 pants, adopted in the 1940s-60s.

These field pants were used during the Algerian War and the Indochina War.

This is the early type, adopted in the 1940s-50s. It's a 1950-51 model, one generation older than the more common M47 with a fly front.

This is a rare, smaller size for the early type, with a wide, straight silhouette that falls straight from the waist (42cm) (hem width 26cm).

There is no size tag, but it's equivalent to a size 22 based on the actual measurements, with the hem having been resized. This size is quite rare for the early type, both in terms of waist and length.
