It is famous that Margiela sampled it inside out to show the beauty of sewing techniques.
The M-47 is broadly divided into early and late models.
This is the early model with two top buttons on the front and twill cotton fabric. Unlike the later model, which has a slight taper towards the hem, it has a wild wide straight silhouette.
Tastes differ, but I personally prefer the early model.
These are two good-sized early model pieces.
