Mens SEIKO vintage 1977 Mechanical Set & Autowind 17 jewel Rare Black Day/Date

This is a vintage 1977 mechanical set and autowind timepiece. This starts with near perfect and unmolested stainless steel case that measures 36/37mm in diameter. A perfect crystal protecting a famous example of a radiant silver sunburst dial with a day/date window with very rare black field inserts with red and white days in Arabic. The crown at the 4 has a quick day/date function through pushing or rotation. The movement is a Seiko 7009 with the 2 complications, is 17 jewels and winds through motion. This is an earlier version that is all alloy with no plastic components. It has had a recent service and keeps decent time for a watch of that period. The bracelet of stainless steel is a Seiko offering of the Jubilee variant and has a Z-Deploy clasp bearing the Seiko name. This offering will fit up to a hair over 8 wrist. On the wrist, it would be hard to tell this 1977 Seiko from one just purchased. The serial number is 792443 and case movement code is 7009-8129.
