Mens SEIKO Sportsmatic % Day/Date 6619 Mechanical Set & Autowind Watch Stainless

This Seiko from Sept. 1965 was one of their premier workhorse mechanical set and Autowind timepieces of that period. The 6619 is a diashock 21 jewel model with all alloy construction, a day/date complication as well as diashock protection for its balance. The case is round and robust at 38mm with a flush crown at the 3. It is all stainless steel construction as is the bracelet. The movement, a 6619, that can be endlessly serviced, has been professionally serviced within the last year and keeps decent time for a watch of the period. The dial is one of Seiko's famous radiant sunburst silvers with a day/date window at the 3. The bracelet is a Seiko original based on the famous oyster model and has a Z-Deploy type clasp and will fit up to a 8 wrist with comfort. On the wrist this Seiko timepiece takes one back to the 60's, even the case still has its sharp and crisp parting lines showing decades of gentle use.
