Antique Hand Colored W. F. Witherington The Crown of Hops Engraving With Ornate Gilt Wood Frame And Double Red Velvet Matting *
Depicted a family picking hops in a field. It is marked in the bottom margin “W.F. Witherington. R.A. Pinx, H. Bourne. Sculpt”. This 1800’s etching is displayed behind glass in a dark green tone gilt wooden frame with a hanger on the reverse.
Typical wear commensurate with age and use. Very rare double red velvet matting shows age related wear, some part is loose from the original place, please see the last photo. Nicks and scratches to frame. Small glass chipped on the left corner as pictured. Some yellowish spots around the edge of the paper.
